I worked hard the last couple of days to get Robert Witt‘s new release finished in time for his live performance in Havenkwartier Deventer next Friday. And that worked out quite nicely!

Midazolam is split up into two releases actually. Tracks 1-7 are available for free download overhere. Tracks 8-13 are available as cd-r release for only 8 euro.  The two Midazolam releases fit very well together, but aren’t just ‘more of the same’. The most obvious difference is the absence of beats in tracks 1-7 . Better believe you’ll want to get both sides of Midazolam…

Midazolam feels slightly darker than ssri, Robert Witt’s previous release. But it can easily be more addictive. Crisp, detailed sounds embedded in a warm, ambient bath of bass, soothing and ominous at the same time. I guess the title kind of says it all…
