Phako

Remco de Jong (Phako) lives and works in Rotterdam. He has been working as a musician and composer in the field of modern electronics since 1990. In 1999 he graduated from The Academy of Visual Arts, Music and Dance, Royal Conservatory in The Hague. His electronic music is inspired by the nature and possibilities of modern computer technology. Sound and structure of the compositions move along the borders of the auditive spectrum: an exploration beyond the boundaries of techno, electro and jazz. Remco de Jong also makes sound installations and musical compositions for electronic music theater and dance. Some of Phako’s other releases can be found (and ordered) overhere.
